ABOUT US

EBSM is a simulation model of the Egyptian Banking System at the Faculty of Economics and Political Science, Cairo University and the Faculty of Commerce, Ain Shams University and we have a branch at Helwan, Alexandria and Sohag Universities with the partnership of the Egyptian Banking Institute and Banque Misr. EBSM aims to teach the student all about the Egyptian banking system; its history, its importance, the fundamental role it plays to support the economic and social development, and to help the students acquire the knowledge and necessary skills in banking and monetary transactions. We began in 2013 as our first year and this is considered our seventh year.

OUR GOALS ARE...

- Introducing the banking system and its role in the economic development. Presenting the different banking operations.
- Defining retail banking and its operations.
- Identifying trade finance and anti-money-laundering requirements.
- Providing the participants with the basic banking skills to perform the many banking operations.

MISSION

We aim to teach the student all about the Egyptian banking system; its history, its importance, the fundamental role it plays to support the economic and social development, and to help the students acquire the knowledge and necessary skills in banking and monetary transactions.
Furthermore, the model develops the personal skills of the students, helps grow their decision making potentials, and prepares a generation that is ready to lead the future.

VISION

Ascension the center stage among the simulation models in order to allow the students of the final years to work in the Egyptian banking system which is important in the future as well as the suggestion of the new and innovative youth ideas that express the spirit of the age and the vision of this generation in the development of the banking and financial services.
